I am a licensed psychotherapist and wellness advocate who believes in focusing on the mind-body connection for a holistic approach to healing. I am committed to creating collaborative spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued.
My therapeutic approach integrates contemporary psychology and Eastern spirituality. My style is warm and focused on offering a compassionate presence. I practice from a strengths-based perspective and believe in every individual’s ability to heal, grow, transform, and thrive.
I specialize in working with people with trauma/PTSD, anxiety, relationship challenges, and ADHD. Strong reactions in the present often signal unresolved pain from the past. I am committed to providing trauma-informed, evidence-based therapies and my passion is supporting clients with creating positive changes in their lives. I believe in focusing on the importance of relationships as healing happens in connection with others.
My therapeutic framework is influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Polyvagal theory, Attachment theory, and the transformative power of Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
In addition to my therapeutic experience, I am a certified yoga and meditation teacher. I utilize parts work, mindfulness, somatic practices, and guided imagery to cultivate self-compassion and to promote the ability to be present from moment to moment with acceptance and non-judgment. I believe in the resiliency of the human spirit and the possibility of increasing flexibility and well-being in daily life.
