My Philosophy
I practice from a non-judgmental, strengths-based perspective helping you first to identify your goals then designing effective, individualized plans to achieve them. My goal is to facilitate positive behavioral change in individuals and families by inspiring people to break through limiting beliefs, encouraging connection, collaboration and effective communication. I believe in the resiliency of the human spirit and in "meeting you where you are," to facilitate growth and change. I encourage individuals, couples, and families to identify the changes they wish to make in their lives, access their strengths, and live to their highest potential.
Counseling Style
I utilize an eclectic approach combining relationship, behavioral, solution-focused, and mind-body healing modalities based on your individual needs and concerns. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory, Behavior Analysis, Mindfulness, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing).
